Biography & Academic Profile
Prof. Naresh Padha is a senior most faculty member at the University of Jammu with a research career spanning experimental semicomductor device-focused materials physics — especially thin-film compound semiconductors, Schottky barrier interfaces and optoelectronic device applications. He has supervised 13 Ph.D. students along with 22 M.Phil students in physics as well as electromics, led multiple funded projects (UGC, DST, DRDO, RUSA), and served in significant administrative roles including Dean acadmic affairs ,Dean research studies, Dean (Faculty of Sciences), Registrar, Rector of off-site campuses, Director of research and HRDC, and convenor of NAAC/NIRF steering committees.
